Our next guest is Rudi Symons who we’ve been keen to have on the podcast for a long time now. Rudi manages her own culture and inclusion consultancy to help businesses create working cultures that are a source of energy; through progressive leadership, inclusion and creativity.
Rudi has recently been named a ‘game-changer’ on the iList by the Institute of Practitioners for Advertising (IPA) for her work in inclusion and diversity - her impact has been nothing short of spectacular.
Rudi has an extensive background in the world of marketing and advertising with previous roles within the Publicis Groupe and WPP. In her last role as Global Head of Culture at GroupM, she co-created the award-winning “Walk the Talk” gender equality movement and led the team who developed the inclusion and diversity framework, “All Means All”.
In this episode, Luke and Rudi tackle some big questions around the challenges and opportunities for inclusion and diversity following the global pandemic. Rudi offers some ideas and opportunities around pushing forward with progress even when the budgets are cut. They also discuss the necessary shift in leadership style and how developing a sense of a sense of personalisation and belonging will help companies to recover. Finally, Rudi shares her own unique and inspiring journey - which has made her an ideal champion of inclusion and diversity.
